So Terrible!!! Three(3) Crews, One(1) Patient Confirmed Dead In Alabama Helicopter Crash


Medical helicopter transporting three crews and a patient were discovered dead during a crash at Alabama in a heavily forested area near Goodman on Saturday.


The helicopter was discovered missing at around 12:15am this morning according to news and officials from the National Transportation Safety Board were investigating the crash of the Eurocopter AS350, which happened about 25 miles north of the state's border with Florida's panhandle.

The crash kills three crews, here are their names excluding the patients name still unknown, pilot Chad Hammond, flight nurse Stacey Cernadas and flight medic Jason Snipes.

The Haynes Life Flight aircraft a Eurocopter AS350 was reported missing at around 12:15 a.m. during its 34 mile trek to Troy Medical Center, where it is based.

Search and rescue crews found the wreck in a heavily forested area near Goodman,  77 miles south of Montgomery, at around 7 a.m., Alabama Emergency Management Agency officials said.

The Chief Executive Officer (C.E.O) of the patient's hospital, Teresa Grimes was said to have saw the post of the crash on Facebook on Saturday with not much details to clarify.

The cause of the crash wasn't known immediately by the Troy medical centre and investigation is still being carried out by The National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB).
