An usher in Catholic Church was caught on cameras stealing from the offering baskets as the congregation closed their eyes and bowed their heads in prayer. The 60-year-old man, Marion Condis was subsequently arrested and charged with one count of grand theft and three count of petit theft on Sunday. See more photos below;
Officials at the Blessed Trinity Catholic Church in Ocala suspected that one of their volunteer ushers was stealing from the church’s offering baskets. So they called detectives, who placed surveillance cameras in a number of services at the church. Police said Condis was seen stealing during each mass.
