Hope Solo Accused Of Repeatedly Slamming Nephews Head - READ

Hope Solo is once again facing charges of domestic violence after a judge reversed a decision from a lower court last week, and now her half-sister is speaking out.

Solo's half-sister, Teresa Obert, says the Olympic soccer goalie assaulted her and her son on June 21, 2014. She claims the fight began with Solo going after her son, Solo's 17-year-old nephew Christian Obert, after the two convinced her not to drink in her car so that she wouldn't drink and drive.

"She had a big punch that sort of grazed me across the chin," Christian Obert told KIRO 7 in Seattle. "And then I pushed her back into a filing cabinet. And from there, she lunged at me again and it went to the floor."

Teresa Obert says Solo began slamming Christian's head into the ground.

"She tackled him again and grabbed his head and kept slamming him into the cement," Teresa Obert told KIRO. "Over and over. And his ear was bleeding, his nose was bleeding. So I got behind and I pulled with all my might to get her off of him."

Solo was initially charged with two counts of domestic violence stemming from the fight. The charges were dropped after a judge determined the alleged victims were not cooperating, but prosecutors decided to file an appeal. A King County Superior Court judge reversed the decision and reinstated the charges, which has resulted in the Oberts telling their side of events.

Solo denied the allegations and claimed she was the victim.

Previously, another report said Christian Obert had to pull a BB gun to try scaring Solo away during the fight.

Since the fight last year, Solo got into trouble again when she allegedly acted belligerently toward police during her husband's DUI arrest in January. Solo was suspended 30 days by US Soccer for her involvement in her husband's DUI arrest, but she has avoided consequences relating to the domestic violence allegations so far.
