The funeral of veteran actor Omar Shariff was held on Sunday in the Egyptian capital Cairo.
The actor best known for his portrayal of the title character in the 1966 classic film 'Doctor Zhivago' and for his work in "Lawrence of Arabia," died of a heart attack on Friday 10th July 2015.
Sharif who died at age 83 was one of the few Arab actors to make Hollywood big break.
He won international fame and an Oscar-nomination for best supporting actor for his role in "Lawrence of Arabia" with Peter O'Toole.
