Before now, the general assumption was Ghanaians are more creative and flamboyant when it comes to the design and making of coffins for burials but this particular casket by a Nigerian, might have just changed that perception.
According to the Facebook user Emmanuel Emmanuel Udoh, who shared these photos, a prominent artist in Akwa Ibom and the South-South in general known as Teacher Ite, was buried in this magnificent shoe casket made by his two sons, said to be artists too.
The burial reportedly took place this last Saturday in Ibesikpo LGA of Akwa Ibom and was attended by prominent individuals in the community.
It was further learnt that the shoe casket symbolizes the big shoe the late Teacher Ite left behind that will be difficult to fill.
What do you make of this shoe casket?
