Bail Has Been Granted For Ex-NSA Dasuki Over Arm Charges

     The Federal High Court in Nigeria's capital Abuja has granted bail to Former National Security Adviser, Rtd col. Sambo Dasuki.


Dasuki was alleged to have illegally harbored firearms in his residence and was charged to court by the Department of state security (DSS).

The retired colonel who served under the Goodluck Jonathan administration was granted bail on self-recognition after pleading not guilty to the allegation levelled against him. His passport was also confiscated as part of his bail requirements.

The case has been adjourned till October 26/27.
