14 ISIS Recruiters Arrested By Morocco & Spain After Joining Forces


    Morocco, In a joint operation with Spain, has arrested 14 people suspected of recruiting and sending Moroccan fighters to the ranks of the Islamic State (IS)


The Spanish Interior Ministry confirmed the news in a statement earlier on Tuesday, adding that the operation was ongoing.

The ministry pointed out in a statement that the joint operation also led to the arrest of the main partner of the cell who lives in the outskirts of Madrid.

The Moroccan ministry hailed the "excellent" security partnership between Moroccan and Spanish security services in the fight against terrorist threats, particularly from tension zones.
