Depending on how you interprete this topic, Wizkid is no doubt a fighter, having fought his way through the tough Nigerian music industry to arrive at his current juicy spot. However, this new turn of talent is beginning to raise a lot of concern.
Is Ayo really a trouble maker or he is just a perpetual victim of circumstance? He started his social media battle venture in 2014, with Davido. Not long after Samklef became the next contender, it was not a welcome idea but the work kept moving. Even as we tried to deal with the sour effect of the Samklef bout, he picks on yet another fast rising act, Saeon. Although Saeon brought the onslaught, Wizkid maintain his tough guy style. And just as we are celebrating almost one quarter of decorum, or at least preparing for the electoral grove, Wizkid and his ex-play mate, Skales are staging another drama, bantering with all sorts of mean names and accusations. One major issue is that Wizkid’s got so many names on his fighting history, running through you’ll find names like Banky W, J Martins, Tonto Dikeh and Cyrus Da Virus. So really, is Wizkid Ayo Balogun, Star Boy or Star Fighter?
